“I am humbled and honored to be joining CTS. I look forward to working with CTS’ outstanding staff, board, and community partners to build on its 25 years of connecting people with care,” said McInnis. “I am committed to growing our organization to be truly responsive to the accessibility needs of our diverse communities. After several years spent near Washington D.C., I am happy to return to my roots in Connecticut.”
With over 30 years of healthcare and management consulting experience, McInnis is a nationally recognized healthcare leader and public health innovator committed to ensuring healthcare access for the most vulnerable in our society. “Since it was first identified as an important social driver of health, studies have shown that having access to affordable transportation leads to healthier communities,” remarked White. “I am proud of the growth that CTS has achieved and of the team that has made that success possible. I am confident that Miguel’s expertise and vast knowledge of the healthcare landscape will bring unique perspectives and be instrumental in leading the organization into the future.”
Established in 1997, CTS has successfully increased the availability of cost-effective and efficient transportation services to underserved individuals and communities in eight states (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont).
