When CTS began its non-emergency Medicaid Transportation brokerage program, we needed a scheduling solution that was inexpensive and simple to use. In order to meet the needs of our customers and funding agencies, we required a software program that would schedule our vendors and provide an outstanding reporting function.

After reviewing a number of the more expensive and so-called fully-automated scheduling programs, we determined that none met our cost, ease of use and reporting parameters. We decided to build a better "mouse trap" and developed our own brokerage software - TRANSPRO2000™. Recognizing that other small urban or rural transit brokers might also have a need for this type of software, we have made it available to our colleagues.

After previewing TRANSPRO2000™, a number of our colleagues requested that we develop a comparable product for direct operators of service. They needed a product that could schedule vehicles and drivers but, like TRANSPRO2000™, was inexpensive and easy to use. Once again we called on our 20 years of direct vehicle operations experience and developed INTRANSIT2000™, a software package designed specifically for dispatchers and customer service staff.
