Education Transportation
The scheduling of out-of district Special Education Transportation Services for school children can be a real challenge for local Boards of Education. It detracts from the central mission of providing quality educational services for Special Education students. Putting the customer first and using our extensive experience with transportation brokerage services, CTS has designed an out-of-district transportation program that meets the individual needs of each student.

The program, used by numerous School Boards over the last four years for both academic and summer school placements, consists of the following:

• A partnership and ongoing communications between CTS, Schools, Transportation Coordinators, Parents, and Students.
• A network of pre-certified transportation companies especially equipped and licensed to provide special education transportation.
• Service for students using wheelchairs. Aides may also be provided, if needed.
• Fully documented trip histories using our automated scheduling and reservations system.
• Customer surveys conducted on a regular basis to insure high level of satisfaction with the service.
• Customer Service lines open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM for trip reservations and to handle weather related delays or incidents.
